Considerations attention and care of centenarians with functional dependence directed to the nearest caregiver

Abstract

To ensure that the population of the third age enjoy of a satisfactory longevity with social recognition and welfare in the various spheres of life; must take into account the subjective perception of caregivers with the level of knowledge, beliefs, myths, attitudes and motivations that have to care for their centennial; for it must perform preventive and educational work with the population in general and the caregiver, in particular, with the aim of increasing the level of knowledge about the risks and consequences of improper handling of dependent centennial, through activities and promotion and disease prevention, promote healthy lifestyles from an early age in life. For this purpose this literature review is done with this subject so close day for our society, where very important issues that raise the quality of care of these people.
