Pulmonary tuberculosis. Notes and updated aspects

Abstract

The increase in cases of tuberculosis diagnosed in our Guantanamo province, as well as at the global and national levels, with the consequent increase in the incidence of tuberculosis cases in the elderly, has been reversed thanks to the gradual recovery of the National Control Program Tuberculosis in the context of economic constraints. A review is done that contributes to the enrichment of knowledge about pulmonary tuberculosis, history, immunology and other aspects of interest.
