Abstract

Leiomyomatosis of the uterus is one of the most frequent diseases in gynecological practice. 20% of women develop these tumors at the age of 40 years. The case is presented a patient with a complicated giant myoma during pregnancy, which requires surgical resolution at 21 weeks of gestation, with satisfactory evolution and delivery at term.
