Abstract

Pituitary adenomas constitute the intracranial tumor that most frequently affects the visual system according to what the psychophysical and neurophysiological studies show, hence the importance of adequate and timely follow-up in neurophthalmology appointments. This study describes the case of a patient treated at our service with temporal pallor of optical discs and important campimetric defects, with diagnosis of pituitary macroadenoma when performing imaging studies.
