Abstract

Breast milk is considered the best means of feeding in the newborn, as it provides significant benefits for the child and mother, family and society as a whole, so its promotion has become a target for all Health Systems considering that, its exclusive use is sufficient to the growth of the infant. Insufficient milk or lactation disorder is a common disease found in traditional medicine likely to face it with guarantees of success and the benefits that it produces based on the long tradition of this ancient medicine in this field. Update, the diagnostic and therapeutic approach of insufficient milk from the Traditional and Natural Medicine (MNT) becoming it in a priority to been more effective, economical and permits progressive development of primary health care.
