Abstract

A literature review was done in order to offer some thoughts about cholera and its origin, risk factors, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention for proper handling and disposal face thereby reducing its incidence with an early action and increased perception of risk not only by the people but also of health. Reference to its clinical presentation, risk groups, epidemiological, health education and prevention mode. Treatment is discussed, among other factors related to the high prevalence disease, affecting the quality and standard of living of the population that should solve their own health problems appropriating concepts and prior knowledge possessed by the health personnel through different methods that are provided for learning in lifetime.
