Abstract

Statistical analysis is an essential aspect of biomedical research. To examine the use of statistics in the thesis of specialization in Guantanamo, from 2012 to 2013 .A study is done in order to identify the most common statistical tools used in the thesis of specialization. In the study were reviewed 337 researches were reviewed, existing in the library of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Summary information was presented through frequency distribution tables as summary measure using the absolute frequency and percentage. Meeting as part of the statistic used summary measure for qualitative data and presenting information through charts and graphs.
