Abstract

Impenetrable hymen is a relatively rare disease that is the absence of the central orifice of the hymen by draining cervical and uterine secretions. These are congenital and developmental anomalies of the external genitalia and very rare in girls. A 17-year-old, black girl, who comes to the clinical office complaining of pain in lower abdomen and primary amenorrhea, was attended at the gynecology emergency consultation in" Hospital Sefwi Asafo. Cuba-Ghana where she was underwent with surgery, with satisfactory outcome.
