All information provided by users when registering on the journal's website and submitting their articles is for RIC's editorial management purposes.

The authors' names and surnames, institutional affiliations, and the email address of the lead author will only be used for authorship of the published article and for establishing the authors' copyright in this journal.

The authors' email addresses and their content during the editorial process will only be used by the assigned editorial team member for purposes related to the review, editing, and publication of the article.

Personal data will be retained by the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Guantánamo even after the publication process of the submitted proposal is complete, primarily for statistical purposes and bibliometric studies.

The site does not request or collect any other information from users. Users can update and modify their personal data at any time by accessing their personal profile.

Furthermore, if you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may file a complaint with the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Guantánamo Research Ethics Committee.
