Research4Life offers institutions in low- and middle-income countries online access to peer-reviewed academic and professional content. It has five programs through which users can access the contents: Research for Health (Hinari), Research in Agriculture (AGORA), Research in the Environment (OARE), Research for Development and Innovation (ARDI) and Research for Global Justice (GOALI). Provides researchers from more than 10,000 institutions in more than 125 countries, with the aforementioned characteristics, free or low-cost online access to 140,000 journals and books in the fields of health, agriculture, environment, applied sciences and legal information.

 SCCI SciELO Citation Index

SciELO Citation Index (SCCI) is a database and search platform for academic literature on all areas of science and the humanities integrated into the Web of Science (WoS) platform. It grants researchers from all over the world greater accessibility to the SciELO database and to different impact indicators. The inclusion of this in the WoS platform is the result of an agreement between Thomson Reuters and the SciELO Program of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

LILACSLatin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS)

It is the most important and comprehensive index of the scientific and technical literature on Health in Latin America and the Caribbean. For 37 years, it has contributed to increasing the visibility, access and quality of information in the region. It is maintained by the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information (also know as BIREME), which is located in São Paulo, Brazil, and sponsored by PAHO and WHO (Regional Office for the Americas).

SCIELOScientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO)

Electronic library project, initiative of the Foundation for the Support of Research of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, (São Paulo Research Foundation, FAPESP) and the the Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information (BIREME), initiated in 1998, which allows the electronic publication of complete editions of scientific journals and which provides an efficient solution to ensure visibility and universal access to its literature.

REDALYC   Network of Scientific Journals of Latin America and the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (RedALyC)

High quality scientific project under constant monitoring, promoted by the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico (UAEM). It emerged in 2002 but was publicly opened to the Internet in 2003. It aims to be a leading platform for scientific information services in open access at the international level and generates indicators that allow quantitative and qualitative knowledge of the way in which science is being done in Latin America.

BIBLAT Bibliografia Latinoamericana (Biblat)

Portal specialized in scientific and academic journals published in Latin America and the Caribbean belonging to the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). It is made up of CLASE (Latin American Citations in Social Sciences and Humanities) and PERIODICA (Index of Latin American Journals in Science). Said portal offers graphic visualization of the extracted indicators, information of the open access policies and services of references and complete text of the articles and documents published in both groups that integrate it.

EZB (Electronic Journals Library) was founded in 1997 by the Library of the University of Regensburg, Germany, in cooperation with the University Library of Technische Universität München. It presents a clearly organized interactive form and provides EZB member libraries with an efficient administration tool for electronic magazine licensing.

MIARInformation Matrix for the Analysis of Journals (MIAR)

Updated annually by the Facultat de Biblioteconomia i Documentació Universitat de Barcelona, MIAR gathers key information for the identification and analysis of journals. The system creates a matrix of correspondence between the journals, identified by their ISSN and the databases and repertoires that index or include them. In addition, the link to the websites of the editors and institutions responsible for the directories and sources is indicated, provided that it is available.

Cuban bibliographic database created in 1995 by the Biblioteca Medica Nacional  (BMN) of the Centro Nacional de Informacion de Ciencias Medicas (CNICM) and by the cooperating centers of the national health system network.
