Abstract

Ethics in health research is an essential component of university education, as it enables future professionals to address ethical dilemmas and ensure scientific integrity. However, this training is often limited and poorly integrated into methodological subjects, creating training and knowledge gaps among both students and faculty. The pressure to publish and the increasing use of technologies such as artificial intelligence have facilitated unethical practices, such as plagiarism or the purchase of authorship, which affects the quality and credibility of research. Given this context, there is a need for more comprehensive ethics training that involves the entire academic community, in order to strengthen accountability, protect study participants, and ensure the validity of scientific findings.
