In the last study of five years was obtained 97 % by the use of linear records in the areas of health, studying a total of 35.571 pregnant. Of these a total of 11.783 pregnant were carriers, a prevalence of (5 %) and the same carrier frequency hemoglobin (Hb AS) was superior to 5.51 %, on the frequency of AC to Hb was 0.90 %, also remains a low molecular prenatal testing coverage, reaching only 70 %.
